VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR SCHENGEN VISA APPLICATION:

1. Application Form:

  • Complete the form legibly in capital letters.
  • Sign the form at field no. 37 and the final part of the form. Two signatures required on the third page.
  • Separate application and document sets for each applicant, including children on a parent’s passport.

2. Passports:

  • Must be valid for at least 90 days beyond the visa expiry.
  • Must have been issued within the last 10 years.
  • Must have at least 2 blank pages.
  • Bring all previous passports if Pakistani; non-residents must apply in their home country.

3. Photograph:

  • One recent passport-size photo (3.5cm x 4.5cm) with a light background.
  • Attach the photo with glue (do not staple).

4. Visa Fee:

  • Pay the visa fee in EUR, cash only.
  • Non-refundable if the visa is denied or unused.

5. Fingerprints:

  • Required for all applicants except children under 12 and those physically unable to provide them.

6. Travel Insurance:

  • Provide a certificate and receipt showing coverage of at least 30,000 EUR.
  • Must cover all medical expenses, emergency hospital treatment, and repatriation.
  • Insurance must be valid across all Schengen states and for the full duration of the stay.

SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:

General Requirements:

  1. Proof of Residence:

    • Pakistani nationals: Copy of CNIC.
    • Non-Pakistani nationals: Proof of legal residence in Pakistan (visa, residence or work permit).
  2. Proof of Transport:

    • Confirmed flight reservation from/to Pakistan.
    • If applicable, intra-Schengen itinerary reservations.
  3. Proof of Lodging:

    • Hotel reservations or sponsorship/invitation with full address.
    • If staying with a host, provide proof of sponsorship or private accommodation approval.
  4. Proof of Financial Means and Ties:

    • Recent bank statements (last six months).
    • Tax certificates or proof of income-generating assets.
    • Employment proof, if applicable (payslips, employment contract, NOC).
    • For business owners: Business registration certificate.
    • For students: Enrollment proof and NOC from university.

Purpose-Specific Requirements:

  • Official Visits:

    • Letters from sending and receiving authorities detailing the visit.
    • For media: Press card and invitation letter.
  • Business:

    • Invitation letter from the Czech company.
    • Proof of business relations (invoices, contracts).
  • Tourism or Family/Friend Visit:

    • Proof of sponsorship/invitation approved by Czech authorities.
    • Copy of host’s ID or residence permit.
  • Medical Treatment:

    • Medical certificates and proof of treatment arrangements.
    • Proof of financial means for treatment.
  • Sports:

    • Letter from national federation and invitation from event organizers.
    • Insurance covering sports events.
  • Studies or Internships:

    • Letter from receiving organization detailing the arrangement.
    • Proof of financial support.
  • Seafarers:

    • Seafarer’s book and detailed employment contract.
    • Itinerary and written commitment for repatriation.
  • Airport Transit:

    • Valid visa or permit for the final destination.
    • Confirmed onward flight reservation.
